Organizational Philosophy

Our approach is client-driven and team-oriented to ensure accountability and responsibility for a client's portfolio and our relationship with the client. Organizationally, we define portfolio management, research, marketing and client services as separate and distinct groups, each composed of experienced and dedicated professionals focused on providing the best possible service for our clients.

Equity Investment Philosophy

We identify fundamentally sound companies that may provide superior long-term appreciation for our clients' portfolios.

A dedication to fundamental research to support the stock selection process for each of our strategies.

We build diversified portfolios to maintain an appropriate exposure among the sectors of the specified benchmark.

Our actively managed portfolios focus on client investment objectives, risk tolerance and style purity. Over the long term, we strive to outperform client benchmarks and to rank among the most successful in the appropriate peer group.

Fixed Income Investment Philosophy

We engage in a bottom-up investment approach using in-house research to review prospective portfolio acquisitions from debt and equity perspectives.

The Fixed Income team employs a bond selection process which searches for issues that offer significant risk-adjusted, incremental yield spreads.

Bonds in client portfolios will be supported by research and fall within the investment quality rating guidelines of the specific strategy.

The term structure of a client's portfolio generally will be within 20% of the term structure of the benchmark.

Our actively managed fixed income investment strategies strive to provide a total rate of return that exceeds their specified benchmarks.
